Numbers are always amazing. Some numbers, equations, series, and patterns behave differently under certain operations. Even though all numbers follow general mathematical rules, some patterns surprise us. Let's explore a few of these cases.

1. Product and Sum Are the Same

Have you ever seen numbers where the sum and product are equal? We know that:

\[ 2 + 2 = 2 \times 2 \]

But are there more such pairs? Yes! There are infinitely many such pairs that satisfy:

\[ a + b = a \times b \]

Some examples are:

\[ (5, 1.25), \quad (6, 1.2), \quad (7, 1.1666), \dots \]

The general formula for such pairs is:

\[ \left(n, \frac{n}{n-1}\right) \]

which satisfies:

\[ n \times \frac{n}{n-1} = n + \frac{n}{n-1} \]

Similarly:

\[ n \times \frac{n}{n+1} = n - \frac{n}{n+1} \]

2. Square Root Pattern

There exists a number for which:

\[ \sqrt{x} + \sqrt{x+1} = \sqrt{x+2} \]

Solving this equation, we get:

\[ x \approx 0.154700538 \]

3. Sum of a Number and Its Square Equals Its Cube

In school, we often mistakenly assume:

\[ x^a + x^b = x^{a+b} \]

which is incorrect. However, there exists a special number for which:

\[ x + x^2 = x^3 \]

That number is the famous Golden Ratio:

\[ x \approx 1.618033989 \]

4. The Range of Nth Power Roots

For any natural number \( n \), the nth root of \( n \) always lies in the range:

\[ 1 \leq n^{\frac{1}{n}} \leq 1.442 \]

Similarly, its reciprocal follows:

\[ 0.5 \leq \frac{1}{n^{\left(\frac{1}{n}-1\right)}} < 1 \]

5. Logarithmic Power Formula

\[ (a+b)^n = (na + nb)^{\frac{n\log(a+b)}{\log(n(a+b))}} \]
